This 28' x 32' main frame with a 12' x 12' mud room was cut on site in Elizabethtown. The frame is Eastern White Pine full size planed and oiled. Curved knee braces, scarf joints and a generous 10:12 roof pitch are some of the elements that make up this frame. The timbers were cut in a few weeks, raised in a day and a half with the homeowner and friends, and enclosed in sheet rock and sips. This has continued to be a fun build with timber stairs and interior framing coming up during the winter months.
